Sand Blow

IMGP2749

Here you can see Double Island Point from the Carlo Sand Blow at Rainbow Beach. It's only a short walk from the car park and well worth the effort for a great view.

Frog on a Wollemi

This Eastern Dwarf Tree Frog was found on a Wollemi Pine at the Sunshine Coast Wollemi Pine Nursery at Beerwah. I should disclose that I have an interest in this nursery, A) because it's a very beautiful place, and B) I know the couple who run the nursery. End promo:)

Tower In The Road

Tower in the road

This communications repeater tower looked to be in the middle of the road as I drove toward it north of Winton yesterday. Yes, this means I'm home in Mount Isa again. I still have some more photos from my coastal adventures to share with you over the coming days, so watch out.

Walking Text

IMGP2669

This random art is sandblasted into the pavement as you walk across the bridge. The story is interesting and I think it was a very creative idea. If you want to read the full passage you will have to take a walk across the bridge.

Flooded Road

IMGP2672

Today I made a trip to Lismore. Unfortunately the road was covered by water near Bexhill. This bus from Nimbin was just turning around to go the long way round as we arrived.
