Ngungun View

A view from near the summit of Mount Ngungun. It's a great walk and some good exercise to get up this little mountain.

Bribie Bar

The eroded Ocean Beach side of North Bribie Island after the new Bribie Bar has been opened. Some of the trees would be concerned for their own safety if they were self-aware.

New Bribie Bar

The new Bribie Bar, or South Caloundra Bar as seen from inside Pumicestone Passage. It is unfamiliar to be able to see the headland and ocean from the passage. There are many trees also spread around inside the passage now creating a boating hazard, so be careful in the changing currents and sandbars in the area.

North Bribie

Ye Olde Customs House on the Brsibane River is dwarfed by the towers that now surround it.

The Grey Street Bridge over the River Brisbane, also known as the William Jolly Bridge.

Kangaroo Point Cliffs

The Kangaroo Point Cliffs on the south bank of the Brisbane River. This was one of the first places I began to learn about the sport of rock climbing.

Story Of A Bridge

Continuing the theme on bridges, this is the Story Bridge at Kangaroo Point. I'm sure there is a story behind its name that I will have to find out one day.

Under The Gateway

My first traverse underneath the Gateway Bridges. A famous landmark to help divert traffic around central Brisbane, the Gateway Bridge is really high, fifty-five metres above the water.

River City

A recent trip on the boat up the Brisbane River took me to this view of the CBD. Brisbane, the river city.

Glasshouse Panorama

A panoramic view of the Glasshouse Mountains from the summit of the Coochin Twins. Also one of my favourite views in the Glasshouse Mountains.

Coochin Creek

The stream that comes down from the saddle of the Coochin Twins. This really is the start of Coochin Creek, the very source.

Coochin Twins View

One of my favourite views from the walk up Mount Coochin is this framed view of Coonowrin.
