A few weeks ago my brother, sister and I lost our mother, Avril. Sharing a photo from one of her favourite activities that I was lucky to be present for. She loved the freedom of the outdoors, adventuring along the coastal pathway in her electric wheel chair. Here we had paused to take in the beautiful ocean views at Moffat Beach.

Bokarina Shelter

A recent scooter ride took me past this elegant public seating shelter in the new Bokarina complex on the Kawana Beaches stretch.

Wharram Pahi

Back on dry land I went for a walk when I saw this Wharram Catamaran. A Wharram Pahi design, approximately 30 feet long. These catamarans are like a portal with which to travel the world, which you can build yourself.

Poverty Point Campground

After four nights exploring the Great Sandy Strait I returned to Tin Can Bay. Travelling all the way to the southern end of the bay you will find this quiet and secluded Poverty Point Campground.
