Channel Marker
Channel marker just out from the Caloundra Headland. The Caloundra bar is easy to cross on a high tide when you are there on sunup to head out with no wind and a calm sea.

Caloundra Bar
A quick trip to cross out and return over the Caloundra Bar at high tide was worth the effort as there were no breaking waves in the small swell. Possbily one of the luckiest days to cross, and near perect weather for boating.

Kite Surf Mecca
The surf in the Caloundra Bar is a Kite Surf Mecca when the wind blows from the south east at about 15-20 knots. This mob of kite sailors is having a blast on a great day.
