These small stalactite formations were found inside one low chamber in the cave we ventured into. Unfortunately, the humidity in the cave was very high and the camera lens was subject to fogging. Consequently, the photos are not as clear as they could be. Next time I shall take a lens warmer of some form to help keep the camera warm and prevent condensation.

Spelunking In Camooweal
Spelunking in a long and difficult cave near Camooweal Caves National Park. The entrance was just wide enough to squeeze through and the going was tough on knees and elbows. The important thing was that we made it in and out alive, the air felt thick and low in oxygen. Every task seemed twice as difficult as usual and I'm sure there was an elevated level of carbon dioxide.
