Dusting

Mount Isa received a light dusting of fine red dirt the other morning. It looked like the sky of Mars as seen from the rover Opportunity on the surface of the red planet.

Dust obscures the Mica Creek Power Station and dark clouds zoom above as a series of storm cells skirt the south of Mount Isa.

Bushes And Dust

The scrub beside the tracks scrape the car, leaving a little bit of sap and the dust sticks where each branch touched. It is also possible the branches have simply scratched the paint and made it rougher and easier for the dust to stick. Or maybe some electrostatic effect perhaps. Either way, the car needs washing.
