Quilt Show

A quilt that caught my eye at the quilt show. There were lots of VW beetles and band names on the number plates. When I looked closer I saw the name Warren Zevon. He did a great song called Don't Let Us Get Sick.

Elementary Particles

This quilting pattern reminded me of the tracks that particles make in bubble chamber collisions.

Fibonacci

Quilts contain a great deal of mathematics. This quilt for instance uses the Fibonacci sequence to select the sizes for the squares.

Mount Isa Quilt Show

The Mount Isa Quilters Group Inc. put on a display this weekend at the Red Earth Hotel. I went along and got some photos.
