Some bounty from the Bounty. A pintle and rudder gudgeon recovered from the famed Bounty after its mutiny in Bounty Bay, Pitcairn Island. The Otago Museum in Dunedin has some remarkable items to see.

Shipwreck

At Woody Point near Redcliffe lies this old shipwreck, the HMQS Gayundah. Apparently it was the first naval ship with wireless telegraphy commissioned to the colony of Australia.
