A quick run out to Mudjimba Island on a Saturday afternoon and a nice calm lee shore allowed a photo opportunity of the southern side of the island.

Shipping Lane

The shipping lane off Caloundra is also very busy these days with large ships carrying all manner of cargo to and from the Port oF Brisbane on the East Coast of Australia.

Bribie Forts

Near the northern tip of Bribie Island are the last remains of old World War 2 fortifications. This one is slowly being swalloed by the sea and denotes the most northern beach access point for 4wd vehicles.
