Bribie Bar

A visit to the Bribie Bar included landing on the tip of South Bribie following a circumnavigation of North Bribie. The Bribie Bar is getting wider and more navigable, however, as with all bar crossings extreme caution is advised.

New Bribie Bar

The new Bribie Bar, or South Caloundra Bar as seen from inside Pumicestone Passage. It is unfamiliar to be able to see the headland and ocean from the passage. There are many trees also spread around inside the passage now creating a boating hazard, so be careful in the changing currents and sandbars in the area.
