Gregory Canoe Race

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to paddle a section of the short course race on the Gregory River. I had to take a few photos while I was there.

Camping

On my way to the Gregory Canoe Race I pulled up to camp near a place called Lily Waterhole.  This was the view of the full moon rising from my campsite.

Canoe Rapids

The first small obstacle to negotiate at the beginning of the Gregory Canoe Race.  The annual Gregory Canoe Race begins here and heads downstream to end at the Gregory Downs Hotel about 20 kilometres north.
