Slide Tracks

Evidence of freshwater crocodiles is there for the keen eye to see in the sand.

Gorge Proper

This is a proper gorge. Tall rock walls and a permanent water presence with freshwater crocodiles, archer fish and black bream that have never seen the likes of humans for many years.

Crocprints

These footprints and slide marks indicate the presence of many freshwater crocodiles on this tiny island in Lake Moondarra.

Crikey!

A croc!  A freshwater crocodile, quietly sunning itself in the early morning rays at the Upper Gorge at Lawn Hill.

Signs

A sign that it is not safe to swim at Coral Beach, Shute Harbour. This was disappointing after a hot humid walk through the bush to get there. However, one does not mess with crocodiles.
