A sign at a rest stop just south of Tambo. Apparenlty this is the highest point of any main road highway in Queensland. I wish I had my GPS to find out the altitude.

Boolboonda Tunnel

The Boolboonda Tunnel Sign near the tunnel entrance. Constructed in 1883/84 and 192 metres long, drilled by hand through solid rock, so solid it has not required lining or supporting to this day.
