Matilda

A recent trip down memory lane took me to see the mascot from the 1982 Brisbane Commonwealth Games, Matilda. Matilda now resides at a service station just south of Gympie. The last time I saw this big kangaroo was on TV when I was a little kid.

Flying Kangaroo

I was out walking in the middle of nowhere and this flying kangaroo came past.  It definitely is the transport mode of choice in this big country.
