Lochern National Park Nature Drive

A wonderful nature drive through the varied terrain of Lochern National Park. In some places it feels like you are in the middle of an untouched habitat as it would have looked thousands of years ago. It is well worth the two hour drive for this loop.

In the beautiful Cooloola Great Sandy National Park there is a veritable rainforest. In it, this strangler fig is in the process of taking over its host tree. If this were a meme, nature would be saying "If I grow the tallest of the trees, no one will compete against me". Then the strangler fig says, "Here, hold my beer".
