Kite Surf Mecca

The surf in the Caloundra Bar is a Kite Surf Mecca when the wind blows from the south east at about 15-20 knots. This mob of kite sailors is having a blast on a great day.

The Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium at the base of Mt Coot-tha in the Brisbane Botanic Gardens.

Smartphone Astrophotography

This photo was taken with a smartphone looking into the eyepiece of a telescope (afocal). The phone is not smart enough to capture this photo by itself. The crescent moon was a pretty sight among the thin cloud from the top of the Maleny range.

Noosa River Source

Near the source of the Noosa River it is just a small tannin stained stream. This is at the Noosa River crossing on the Cooloola Coast Way in the Great Sandy National Park.
