Tropical Paradise
A view to savour. It was hard to keep walking when there were so many places to stop and take photos of the amazing view.

Magnetic Island Arrival
We arrived on Magnetic Island for the school camp and a few curious people inspected a strange sign. Lucky for us the cyclone sign foretold of no immediate danger.

Road
A section of the road heading to Kajabbi. There is is plenty of scenery around this area and it's a good drive. There are also plenty of 4wd tracks to explore on the Old Mount Isa Kajabbi road.

Kajabbi Via Lake Julius
Last weekend I made a trip to Kajabbi. I drove the short way, which means about 120km of dirt road. Much of it corrugated, with some sections of large bulldust holes. It is currently in very good condition due to a lack of rain and easily passable in a two wheel drive car.

View
From the top of the lead stack is a marvellous view of the town. This is looking east toward Cloncurry. You can see the curvature of the Earth when the horizon is so distant.

Lead Stack
I recently had the good fortune to take a visit to the tall lead stack in town. The lead stack is visible behind me.

Bike
I took my bike for a ride up the hill on the eastern entrance to Mount Isa. Another wonderful view to be found.
