You may have seen these stickers getting around the country recently. I saw one on a Toyota ute on the Sunshine Coast early this year. Get on their website and be proud of your home too.

Very Small Hailstones
A brief and cooling storm went over Sunset and dropped a few hailstones. Very small hailstones as you can see.

Flood Relief Concert Mount Isa
The Flood Relief Concert at Tony White Oval on Saturday night was impressive. Over $7000 raised for the Premier's Flood Appeal and plenty of great acts singing on stage.

Townsville Post Yasi
The golden morning sunrise strikes Castle Hill looking over Townsville in the wake of cyclone Yasi. There was little structural damage and lots of green waste on the footpaths waiting to be mulched.

Steep Track
A steep section of the track on the road into Rigby Falls. While not the steepest of grades, it is a little rough in places. However, even in the wet it is passable as the section is largely solid rock.

Hilltop
A view to the top of a small hill just outside town. The clouds were perfectly aligned for a near smiley face :)

Rigby Falls 2011
Saturday morning I took a drive down the road past Mount Frosty to see Rigby Falls at Corella Gorge. This wonderful swimming hole and waterfall were there to greet me. If you visit, I suggest you go early if the weather permits. Not long after this photo I met three vehicles in the car park and passed another two coming in. This place is becoming popular, with very good reason.
Check out a short video below for the full aural experience.

Squall Approaching
Before the squall hits.
As the squall hits town a few minutes later. Click on one of the photos to see the full sequence. A few seconds after this I was running back to the dry safety of the car.

Wet Side Stack
This is what happens to the lead stack during rain and wind. Only the windward side gets wet leaving a light coloured lee side. This was during a brief intermission in the rains that are following the cyclone formerly known as Yasi.
