Tibro View

Tibrogargan comes into view early along the Yul-yanman track from Beerburrum.

Cooroora Track

Some interesting trees near the top of the steep track up Mount Cooroora. The track is steep and eroded in parts, with steel stairs in exposed areas to reduce erosion and increase safety for the Pomona King of The Mountain race held each year in July.

Tunnel Vision

Inside the Dularcha Railway Tunnel near Landsborough. The trail is an easy grade walk, bike ride, horse ride, or in this case, Segway ride along a well maintained track.

River To Rail Trail

A recent visit with friends to Gympie took me to this newly opened walking track section along the edge of the Mary River.

Unexpected Door

An unexpected door is the most interesting kind of door. Especially when climbing a steep track up a rocky mountain face and you see this at the end of the track. If only I had a key.

Fill 'Er Up

Went for a drive down a very rough old track and found this truck. We thought maybe all she needed was some fuel to kick it over. However, this poor old truck had seen much better days. They sure don't make trucks with such beautiful complex steel curves any more.

Bush Track

A long drive down a short track led to this spectacular gorge feature outside of Gunpowder.

An Easier Trail

An alternative path up and over the hill that the Suzuki could do. And the track kept going off into the distance.

Loose Track

A hill the Suzuki could not climb. Lots of loose rock and attempts by previous 4wd's had torn the track up. Despite the appearance, this hill is very steep and the rut on the left of the track was almost half a metre deep. Three dimensions are not very well represented in 2D photographs.

Three Wheel Drive

Sometimes only three wheels are required to do the job, and sometimes only three wheels can reach the ground.
