Yul-yan-man Trail

A track marker on the Yul-yan-man Trail in the Glasshouse Mountains. This track starts at the base of Mount Beerburrum and heads north-west to meet the Trachyte trail and a return fire a fire break trail. Well worth the time to walk this 10km loop, great views and a tranquil forest with few other walkers.

Tunnel Vision

Inside the Dularcha Railway Tunnel near Landsborough. The trail is an easy grade walk, bike ride, horse ride, or in this case, Segway ride along a well maintained track.

Boondall Wetlands

I've always wondered what is in the Boondall Wetlands area each time I drive down the Gateway Motorway. Now I know. And you can too when you stop in and go for a walk or ride a bike around the tracks in the area and follow the Indigenous trail markers, a lookout and signs for birdlife.

Red Rover Adventure

Another trail to explore further around the Isa. The trails are almost never ending, and often very steep and potentially dangerous. Always explore sections on foot if you're unsure of the terrain ahead.

Small Gorge

The trail also led to this wonderful and cool gorge with a small creek carved through the hill.

End Of The Line

The trail abruptly ended. There was no going further by vehicle.

Ridge Comes Into View

The ridge is now clearly in view as the trail opens onto a flat plain and leads toward it.
