A Universe At The Front Gate
This photo was taken from the front gate near the kerb at my home. You can see brightest Jupiter near centre and some stars of the belt of Orion up higher between the cloud. It was taken with my new favourite low light lens, a Tokina 11-16mm f2.8. It is a very sweet lens for astronomical targets.

Broken Tin
There's a hole in the roof dear Liza. Please do not sit here when it is raining. An old picnic seat on Pamela Street hill.

What Channel?
I have never even heard of channel 6. This building is the source of television signals for the city of Mount Isa.

South Pole
The south celestial pole becomes evident in this star trail image. The large and small Magellanic Clouds can also be seen. This is approximately 15 minutes of exposure time. If you look very closely just to the right of the celestial pole you will notice a distinctly green 'star trail' (nearly vertical). That is actually comet Lemmon (C/2012 F6). Thanks to Len for finding this one for me.
