Orchid

Orchid
An orchid grwoing in a Moreton Bay Fig Tree. My mother attached this orchid to the tree many years ago and it has been slowly taking hold. This year was the largest bloom I have seen, most likely from the long wet seasons due to consecutive La Nina episodes.

One of the many pretty flowers to be found on a sand dune. This one was at Burnett Heads in Bundaberg. It is known as Morning Glory, or Railroad Vine (Ipomoea).
