Henbury Meteorite One of the pieces of meteorite from the Henbury impact field. THis one is held at the Melbourne Museum. It was good to see a piece of the impactor after seeing the crater field many times in the past.

Serendipitous

Henbury Meteorite

A serendipitous discovery at the Cloncurry tourist centre and Mary Kathleen museum. This rock may be a piece of the original meteorite chain that hit at the Henbury impact site in the Northern Territory. The last place I would have expected to make such a find.
