In the Kuridala cemetery there are many graves, both marked and unmarked. There is a visitor's book with stories of the causes of death. In a mining town in the 1900's there were of course many gruesome deaths.

Heritage

Only in the outback could you get heritage listing for a degraded mining waste site and a hole in the ground. I guess it means they don't have to clean anything up. A bit sad really.
