Beerburrum Cemetary The Beerburrum Cemetery near the end of the Yul-yan-man loop. There was a 104 year old lady in one of the graves, that's quite an innings.

It is amazing what you find if you go looking for nothing in particular. On this occasion I came across the grave of Thomas Bracken in the Dunedin Cemetery, the author of the words for New Zealand's national anthem.

In the Kuridala cemetery there are many graves, both marked and unmarked. There is a visitor's book with stories of the causes of death. In a mining town in the 1900's there were of course many gruesome deaths.

A place in town I've not visited till now. The Sunset Lawn Cemetery. An ominous cloud floats overhead, perhaps the rain will bring new life.
