Icehouse Trad

Near the beginning of Icehouse you are carrying a whole lot of extra weight in the gear needed to place in the cracks for protection.

Icehouse Trad Climb

Today I climbed Icehouse on belay after Sandro did all the hard work of leading and protecting the climb. This is a classic climb on Ngungun's upper cliffs, grade 16, plenty of jugs but 45 metres is a long way up. I was struggling in a few moments and I wasn't even having to place gear. Thanks for putting in the hard yakka Sandro.
