Telstra Hill
The view of Mount Isa from Telstra Hill. This is one of the highest hills within about 10 kilometres of the town centre. It has the local Telstra mobile phone communications tower. It is Mount Isa'a connection to the outside world.

Telstra Tower
I was lucky enough to go on a trip up a large hill just outside of town yesterday evening. This is one of the photos I took as I was leaving, I think it is the local Telstra communications tower, however, my phone indicated only 50% signal, I suspect that this close to the tower the signal is not optimal.

Lawn
One thing Mount Isa has a surprisingly large amount of is green lawns. Water restrictions are minimal due to consistent monsoon wet seasons. Although this year was the driest January in Mount Isa for a number of years
