Moon Halo
Tuesday night there was a bright halo around the Moon. It is caused by ice crystals in the thin cloud that refract (bend) the light rays from the Moon back toward the viewer like a lens.

Orion The Hunter
Orion the hunter sets over Battle Mountain. Also known as the canoe to some Indigenous cultures of northern Australia. The hunter appears to stand guardian over the mountain below. In a modern interpretation, the belt and sword of Orion could be seen as a giant mouse pointer in the sky

Emu Rising
The Emu in the sky rises to walk the dry land once more. This is a star formation recognised only by the Indigenous people of Australia, the only continent that has emus.
