Cirrus

No boat show would be complete without all the other expensive toys that one could throw money at. Like this private plane.

Seaplane

Sitting on the Maroochy River you can find this Wilga 80 Seaplane waiting to take you for a sight seeing tour of the coast.

QANTAS Sunset

A QANTAS jet comes into Mount Isa in the orange glow of sunset against a grey cloud of storm.

Above The Cloud

A recent trip to the Sunshine Coast for a wedding required a plane to be caught. The view from planes is always spectacular even when you cannot see the ground.

Diving Cloud

A view of sunset out a plane window as we dive through the cloud into Townsville town.

Plane Old

A plain old plane that will fly no more. This was at the Daly Waters highway inn, Northern Territory.

Sick Bag

A sick bag on an Air New Zealand plane.  Which ever way you look at it, it's funny.

Clear Runway For Landing

Coming in to land at Adel's Grove airstrip in a Jabiru light plane.

Propellor

The turboprop doing its thing pulling the plane along through the air. Ahhh, the physics.

Flying Into The Sunset

The view from a Saab turbo-prop heading west toward Mount Isa as we chase the sunset.

Zebra Crossing?

The end of runway marking as the plane turns around ready to take off for Brisbane last Friday night. I looked out the window and thought, I wonder if planes would give way to a pedestrian?

RFDS Pilatus

The RFDS plane. A Pilatus PC-12 single engine with variable pitch propeller.

Reflection

I'm actually in this shot, although a bit distorted. Nice and shiny nose cone.
