A small stream of water flows down the three steps cascades near Mount Isa after some much needed rain overnight and today.

Flowing Water

This is the first decent rain to fall on Mount Isa in the last two years. A visit to the Three Steps (Cascades / Three Sisters) revealed a wonderful sight. However, one must be careful, as the creek rose while we were watching the stream flow and temporarily cut us off from returning home.

Spinifex Hills

Three Steps

The Three Steps, or Cascades just out of town on the way to the lake. This area is significant to the local Kalkadoon people, and a great place to visit.
