Flowing Water

Three Steps Flowing

Dangerous Forests

Little Yabba Creek Fig Tree Walk

Water Crossing

IMG_1404
One should always be careful with water crossings.  This one looks very still and harmless, however on closer inspection was found to be just over knee deep.  Not something you want to drive into without the right vehicle.

Happy Australia Day

Some recent rains around Mount Isa have caused some of the smaller creeks to flow. This creek is on the way to East Leichhardt dam and makes for a nice cascade.

Sunset Creek

Sunset Creek

The local creek in Sunset is swollen with runoff from the recent rains and makes for a green oasis in what is usually a stagnant swamp.
