Cooloola Sandpatch

A view for scale as I approach the great Cooloola Sandpatch. One person in the distance is walking north ahead of me and I'm about to pass the other three heading south. The sandpatch is an uphill walk when heading north and takes about 45 minutes to cross.

Brahminy Sunset

A stunning sunset from the Brahminy Camp area on the Great! Walk Cooloola. The Brahminy Camp is of course named after the Brahminy Kite which is often seen along the coastal dunes here.

Mount Seawah

The view of Noosa Heads from Mount Seawah. The spectacular Grass Trees were in flower on the southern end of the walk making for beautiful vistas along the trail.

Great! Walk Cooloola

The southern entrance to the Great! Walk Cooloola track on Noosa North Shore. This was the beginning of my first solo multi-night hike.
