Earth's Sun shines through a cut out sign of a Sauropod called Elliot in the Australian outback. The Sun has seen many species come and go on this planet.

International Space Station
Every day the International Space Station passes over many locations on Earth. Yesterday morning it passed over Mount Isa before sunrise, like many occasions before. What is so special about this time? This time Col. Chris Hadfield is aboard. He is Canadian and the current commander of Expedition 35 aboard the ISS, and he is the first prolific facebooker from the ISS. Sending us photos of Earth and more from on board. You might like to follow him on Facebook for some great updates.

Bosom Rock
In a large paddock approximately 100 kilometres north of Winton you will find this painted rock. It reminds me of the song by Cornershop, Brimful of Asha, which has the line, "everybody needs a bosom for a pillow", every time I drive past. Click here to see the front of the rock.
