The Horsehead nebula, Barnard 33 in the constellation Orion. This has been one of my dream targets for many years. Not bad for a 60mm refractor and Canon 60D. This is one hour worth of exposure time.

I've walked over this plaque on Rodeo Drive many times and never stopped to truly look till now. It turns out the footpath has many plaques dedicated to rodeo riders. This one is from 1960. I shall bring you some more of these plaques in future posts.
