Comet Leonard C/2021 A1

Comet Leonard C/2021 A1 I caught my first photo of Comet Leonard C/2021 A1 on the full moon. Not ideal, however it was a start. Hopefully further into the waning moon the contrast will improve and hopefully a clearer and closer shot will be possible. This one was cropeed from a 16mm, f4, 5 second exposure on my trusty old Canon 60D.

Mudjimba Eclipse

Mudjimba Eclipse Enhanced The longest partial Lunar Eclipse in my lifetime, as seen over Mudjimba Island on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, Australia. The ideal shot of the moon rising over the sea was not possible due to the distant cloud on the horizon, but once it popped above the clouds it was still a sight to behold.
