Dusting

Mount Isa received a light dusting of fine red dirt the other morning. It looked like the sky of Mars as seen from the rover Opportunity on the surface of the red planet.

Refraction And Reflection

This rainbow was seen just north of Augathella in the usually dry outback of Queensland. There was not much rain here, just a shower, but it was still nice to see evidence of rainbows.

The Palms

The Palms National Park just north of Cooyar is a small stand of palms reminiscent of the forest at Lamington National Park on the Gold Coast. Though small, it was worth saving as it is a little oasis amongst the farmlands.

With all these beautiful beaches on the Sunshine Coast, one could almost get beached out with beaches. Almost, but not quite.
