Another view of the waterhole/abandoned mine. This one shows the green-blue of the water much clearer. Copper sulphate is largely responsible for the strong colour.

Get out to Mary Kathleen mate. Ya want to see a poison water hole that one takes the cake. (Yellow Cake as it turns out). For your sake don't drink or swim in the water but the view is kick ass. Get out there before they start re mining it........
yep, am planning on it. apparently it's a massive place and you simply can't fit it into a normal camera without a wide angle lens. i'll see what i can do when i get there and bring back some pics.
Can you take dogs here?
